EDM Die
Universal Metal Marking used 2D Engraving, 3D Engraving, EDM, Laser and Photo Etch to produce Steel Stamps, Hot Stamps and Marking Dies for all applications. This die is produced with an EDM in Tool Steel with extra deep characters and a compound bevel. The extra depth is required for clearance, the compound bevel is required for strength, and the heat-treated tool steel is required for durability in this high production Hot Stamping application. Male & Female Debossing Die Insert This Male & Female Debossing Die is an insert to a larger Progressive Die set. The center islands are omitted from .125” characters as part of customer’s Logo. The insert is designed for high production Embossing into heat-treated spring steel. The unusual design stems from customer’s specification to build in rigidity into product being produced.
